The founding observation
The gap between Copenhagen and Nairobi is large, and it does not need to be.
DEMAR Properties was founded on a simple observation: the gap between what "premium" means in Copenhagen and what it means in Nairobi is large, and it does not need to be. The materials exist. The architectural skill exists. The capital exists. What was missing was a developer that would assemble all of them without diluting any of them.
Our founders are Danish-trained architects working full-time in Nairobi, partnered with the Kwetu Architects practice that has been Nairobi-grown for over a decade. We are debt-free by structural choice. We hold every shilling of buyer money in escrow. We pursue IFC EDGE certification on every project. None of this is marketing. All of it is how we work.
