Overview
We are small by intention. The Dagaz is a boutique-scale building of 96 residences — fewer, better homes rather than more, forgettable ones — and the two-bedroom plates were drawn from the inside out. Every decision, from the orientation of the primary window to the override that lets the second bedroom serve as a study, was made for the couples and small families who will live there.
The two-bedroom segment in Westlands is the deepest in Nairobi’s premium residential market. It serves UN and embassy staff on three-to-five-year postings, expat professionals on indefinite contracts, returning diaspora consolidating into a primary residence, and Nairobi families moving up from Kilimani as it densifies. New-build supply that meets premium spec — verified escrow, third-party EDGE audit, branded fittings — is thin.
The Dagaz, by DEMAR, lists thirty-two two-bedroom residences across floors 03–16, each between 78 and 96 m² internal, all on continuous wrap-around balconies. From USD 215,000 (KES 28M / GBP 170K) on a 24-month escrow-protected payment plan held by Stanmore Trust Kenya Limited.
What is included in a Dagaz two-bedroom
Each 2-bedroom apartment carries a Bulthaup b3 kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, Vola sanitaryware, white-oiled European oak floors, Schüco AWS triple-glazed full-height aluminium glazing, and integrated wardrobes by the joinery shop on site. The primary bedroom faces the green wall on the south elevation. The secondary bedroom is sized to function as a study with a queen-bed override.
The unit walls behind the cabinets are held to the same tolerance as the walls in front. There is no MEP shortcut hidden in the bulkheads. Every floor plan was drawn by Lars-Henrik Mortensen and walked weekly with the foreman.
Why Westlands for a 2-bed
A two-bedroom in Westlands sits in a working catchment: walking distance to Sarit, Westgate, ABC Place, and Village Market; eleven minutes to UNON Gigiri; twenty-eight to JKIA. The new BRT line on Waiyaki Way reduces commute volatility into the CBD. Premium-rental yields for new-build EDGE-certified stock in Westlands run 5–9% gross, against a Nairobi premium average closer to 6%.
Two-bedroom is the segment most often rented by diplomatic postings and the segment with the highest churn-velocity — i.e. the most predictable cash flow if the unit is held for rental. It is also the segment families consolidate into before they move up to a 3-bed, which makes resale demand robust.
How to reserve a two-bedroom at The Dagaz
Reservations are by appointment, in person at our Westlands gallery on Lower Kabete Road, or by 45-minute video call from anywhere. The reservation pack includes the floor plan, the full finishes specification, the payment plan, the escrow trustee deed, and the service-charge schedule.
A 10% deposit is held by Stanmore Trust Kenya Limited from the date of reservation. No funds reach DEMAR before the corresponding milestone is independently certified by Knight Mwangi Quantity Surveyors.
